If you are looking for Sunshine Coast Swimming Lessons, enrol your children into Flinders Aquatic Academy. We provide your family with a supportive, affectionate and nurturing Aquatic Education environment. From Parent and Baby Lessons through to Competitive Squad Training – our focus is on developing our students and athletes to their fullest potential.

USC Spartans Swim Club
At Flinders Aquatic Academy we encourage our competitive age group swimmers (Ages 8yrs to 18yrs) to join the USC Spartans Swim Club.

You can find Flinders Aquatic Academy at 1-47 Stringybark Rd Buderim 4556 QLD, which is the secondary car park of Matthew Flinders College.
We have a beautiful 25m 8x Lane outdoor Squad Training Pool which is heated to 27-28 degrees all year round.
We have a purpose built indoor Learn To Swim Pool for our Baby Lesson Classes, Pre-School Classes and School Aged Classes. Our Learn To Swim Pool is heated to a comfortable 32 degrees all year round.
Both our Squad Training Pool and Learn To Swim Pool are immaculate. With the facilities located within the Matthew Flinders College, they are always clean and tidy.

Our Certifications



Chris returned from the Rio Olympics 2016 with a successful campaign – three swimmers – three medals; with his swimmers winning more medals at the 2017 World Championships.

Jan’s experience and knowledge were vast, with veteran swim coach, Bill Sweetenham dubbing Jan as “the Godmother of Swimming in Australia and New Zealand”.
